Question: Is it permissible for my father to be a mahram for my wife to perform the ‘umrah whilst I am in Riyadh?
Response: The father is a mahram for his son’s wife for the [purposes of the] hajj and other than that.

السؤال: هل يجوز أن يكون والدي محرماً لزوجتي لأداء العمرة و أنا داخل الرياض؟
الجواب: أبو الزوج محرم لزوجة الابن في الحج و غيره.
