In the name of Allāh, ar-Raḥmān (the most merciful), ar-Raḥīm (the bestower of mercy).

{وَالْعَصْرِ * إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ * إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ}

{By time. Indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, and encourage one another to the truth, and encourage one another to patience} [Sūrah al-‘Aṣr]

I have made the following resources available for my brothers and sisters among the students of knowledge for teaching, research, khutbahs, lessons, etc. They are my personal notes, compiled over many years. They are drawn from various sources, including websites, fatāwa, and books – both classic and contemporary. Often, citations may be missing, as the notes were originally for personal reference, not publication. I have only made them available online after requests from various students.

Please verify any information before use, as errors, typos, and grammatical inaccuracies will no doubt exist. I would be grateful if you could inform me of any corrections or suggested improvements.

As always, I encourage students to return to the works of the scholars, and the major references of Islamic knowledge – the books of tafsīr, sunnan, fiqh, ‘aqīdah etc. These resources are a mere compilation and summary of what they authored.

The materials provided below are free of copyright for use and benefit, without any need to reference – except du’ā. May Allāh grant benefit through this website, forgive any shortcomings, and accept this work as a means of serving His religion.

Your brother,
Abul Abbaas
