In the name of Allāh, ar-Raḥmān (the most merciful), ar-Raḥīm (the bestower of mercy).
This is the second part of a series of articles regarding Atheism. The articles are an edited translation of the following book, authored by our Shaykh Salih Ibn AbdulAziz as-Sindhi, entitled:

2nd Article: The Existence of Creation is a Proof For the Existence of the Creator.
He is Allāh, the Lord of the Worlds.
{It is Allāh who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then he established himself above the ‘Arsh (Throne) and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain. And it is he who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought} [13:02-03]
{He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind. This is the creation of Allah. So show me what those other than him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error} [31:10-11]
The Messengers of Allāh said to their people {Can there be any doubt about Allāh, Creator of the heavens and earth?} [14:10]
Meaning that Allāh, the glorified, is the most apparent of what exists; the presence of everything else is dependent upon his presence; he himself is the witness, and he is himself attested to by creation; he is the proof for the existence of everything, and their existence proves his existence. He, himself, is proof of his own self.
Some of the wise would say, ‘How can I request proof for the one who himself is a proof for everything else. His existence is more apparent than any proof I request regarding him.’
Glorified is he, the one to whose oneness, all beings bear witness; everything in the universe is in submission to his magnificence; all creatures are poor, in need of him; they do not possess any ability to benefit or harm; nor to die, live or be resurrected without him. He gives life to all creatures and brings death; He sustains their existence and ends it; He protects them and controls them; He uses them and subjugates them; From him is their existence and due to him is their presence.
{He said: Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]} [20:50]
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَ اللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ} الجاثية: ٦}
{Then in what statements after Allāh and his verses and signs will they believe?} [45:06]
{Can there be any doubt about Allāh}, and yet he is known above the possibility of any denial; He is so great that he cannot be rejected.
The poet said:
Nothing is correct in the minds … When the day requires proof [for its existence]!
His existence, Lordship and ability are more apparent than anything else; his existence is clearer to the minds than the sun is to our sight. His existence is more logical to the intellect than anything else which the intellect understands. Nobody denies his existence except a person who speaks with an arrogant tongue whilst his own heart, mind and intellect oppose his statements.
{Can there be any doubt about Allāh}, and yet doubt only exists about something when proofs are hidden and complicated. As for the one who has a sign – rather many signs – which show his existence in everything which is sensed and understood; everything proves he is the one besides whom there is no other deity; He is the Lord of the creation – how then could there possibly be any doubt regarding him?!
There is nothing in the sciences which are known to man more proven and clear than the existence of Allāh; His Lordship and sole right to worship – he is exalted and majestic.
Everything which you see with your eyes; everything you hear with your ears; everything you understand with your intellect; and everything which you can sense – all of it is a proof for his existence, the blessed and most high.
Thus, the existence of the Creator is known by necessity, without there being the slightest doubt in it. For this very reason the Messengers said to their people: {Is there any doubt about Allāh}.
They rhetorically addressed their nations; they asked them a question regarding the one whose existence can never be doubted; it should not even cross a person’s mind.
Furthermore, there should be no doubt in his right to worship, his Lordship and perfection in every one of his qualities and attributes.
Despite the existence of the Creator being so apparent, a group of aberrant and abnormal people deny it. They have now launched a vicious war to infect the Muslims and their youth with their plague, targeting the beliefs and morals of the Muslims. Sanding in the face of their onslaught and fighting against their ideological war is from the greatest types of jihād, because it is defending against a vicious attack which threatens both the religion as well as our worldly life.
