Question: If two, three, or more people collaborate in building a masjid, does each one receive the full reward for building it, or less than that?
Response: Have you read [Sūrah] Az-Zalzalah? What did Allāh say at the end of it?
{فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْراً يَرَهُ * وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرّاً يَرَهُ} الزلزلة: ٧-٨
{So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it} [99:07 -08]
Each person will receive the reward for what they did, but they will also have a second reward due to another reason, which is cooperating with each other in doing something good and righteous. If it were not for these people coming together, each contributing a little, the construction would not have been completed.
So we say: Each person gets the reward for their own work and the reward for helping and supporting others.
Look, my brother, the reward is according to the deed.
We say: this person gets the reward for their action according to what they spent, and they also get the reward for cooperating in the building of this masjid.
اجتماع أشخاص لبناء المسجد

السؤال: شخصان أو ثلاثة أشخاص أو أكثر اشتركوا في بناء مسجد هل يكتب لكل واحد منهم أجر بناء مسجد ، أم أقل من ذلك؟
الجواب: هل قرأت إذا زلزلت؟ ماذا قال الله في آخرها؟
{فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْراً يَرَهُ * وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرّاً يَرَهُ} الزلزلة: ٧-٨
كل واحد له أجر ما عمل ، لكن يكون له أجر ثان من جهة ثانية وهي التعاون على البر؛ لأنه لولا اجتماع هؤلاء كل واحد أتى بقليل ما قام البناء ، فنقول : له أجر عمله وله أجر المساعدة والمعاضدة
انظر يا أخي! الثواب حسب العمل ، نقول : هذا له أجر عمله على قدر ما أنفق وله أجر التعاون على إقامة هذا المسجد.
