The Messenger of Allaah (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) said:

((Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allaah, His Angels and the whole of mankind)).

Shaykh Muhammad Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee said:

"Even with that being the case, I noted that in all of the Muslim lands, regrettably, there are Muslims who nominate themselves to Parliament claiming that they will reduce evil. We can not forcefully prevent them from campaigning; all we can do is advise, clarify, and convey [the truth]. Hence, if a Muslim is going to nominate himself as opposed to a Christian or Communist, whether it be for major or minor elections (according to your terminology) then we vote for him."

One of the Signs of Hizbeeyah

Category: Methodology

Hizbeeyah is based upon agreeing with the opinion of the group, and to spread and propagate it as well as make it an undeniable proof which is not liable for criticism or discussion. This is because the establishers of this opinion are too grand to be criticized and too great to fall into mistakes in the sight of their followers. So by doing this they take them as Arbaab (lords) that legislate for them, and the saying of Allaah; {They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allaah), and (they also took as their Lord) the Maseeh son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Tauraart (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] to worship none but one Ilaah (God - Allaah) La Ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshiped but He). Praise and Glory be to him (far above is He) from having partners they associate (with him).} is applied upon them.

And in the Hadeeth of ‘Adee ibn Haatim - رضي الله عنه - that he entered upon the messenger of Allaah - صلى الله عليه وسلم -, while he was wearing a silver cross on his neck, and this was the first time he entered upon him, and the messenger of Allaah -صلى الله عليه وسلم -was reading: {They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah } He [‘Adee] said:

“They did not worship them.”

So he [the messenger of Allaah - صلى الله عليه وسلم -] said:

“Yes they did, indeed they made Haraam for them that which was Halaal, and they made Halaal for them that which was Haraam, and that was their worship of them.”

And we have experience with the people of Hizbeeyah, and we know their reality because of our [past] contact/dealings with them. We found that they take whatever comes from the leaders and founders of their Hizb (group) and they consider it to be immune from criticism. And if someone from outside of their Hizb was to criticize it, they turn him into an enemy and they consider his criticism to be unjust and a crime, even if it was perfectly correct.

الحزبية تقوم على التسليم بآراء الجماعة وتوزيعها ونشرها وجعلها قطعية الثبوت غير قابلة للنقد ولا للنقاش، فالمؤسسون لها اجل من أن ينتقدوا، واكبر من أن يخطئوا في نظر أتباعهم فيتخذونهم بذلك أربابا ومشرعين وينطبق عليهم قول الله تعالى: {اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أربابا من دون الله والمسيح ابن مريم وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا إلها واحداُ لا اله إلا هو سبحانه عما يشركون} وفي حديث عدى بن حاتم رضي الله عنه انه دخل على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وفى عنق عدى صليب من فضة - وذلك حين قدم عليه أول قدمه- ورسول الله يقرأ: {اتخذوا أحبارهم ورهبانهم أربابا من دون الله ...} قال فقلت إنهم لم يعبدونهم. قال: (بلى، إنهم حرموا عليهم الحلال واحلوا لهم الحرام فتلك عبادتهم إياهم) . ولقد خبرنا أصحاب الحزبيات خبرة تجربة ومعرفة لواقعهم بسبب احتكاكنا بهم فوجدناهم يأخذون ما جاء من قادة حزبهم ومؤسسيه والمنظرين فيه بمنظار الحصانة عن النقد ولو انتقد احد من خارج حزبهم عادوه وجعلوا نقده ظلماُ وتجنياً حتى ولو كان نقداً في الصميم
